Yes, the internal mounts for the airgun, the trunnions were broken off. One is part of the feed tray and one is part of the turret lower. Since the feed tray is also the mount for the air gun On\Off switch, it can be unscrewed. I will be able to reuse the turret upper. It just needs detail rebuild and repair and depending on how well I can touch up the paint with a brush and some spray OD in a cup, a possible repaint and new markings.

Thank you, my friend, I have already ordered a complete turret with a new airgun. I'll swap out what I need from there and have a few bits left for Spares. This is a colossal pain in the arse. I'm having to spend more on the Pershing when I should be buying that Profiline StuG III B kit from Asiatam. Ah well, the StuG is a Springtime build anyway.

Looked at the tank for the first time in a couple of days. I had cleaned up and found all of the broken pieces, tools, figure, etc the night the accident happened. I had pulled it all apart and made sure that the motors, gearboxes and electronics still worked ( aside from the airgun of course ). The last couple of days have been a parts hunt. Tonight, I put on some Herb Alpert\Rise and sat down and started the repairs. I started small, shovel, helmets and the Commander. The only tool broken was the shovel and it was a clean break. A drill, a pin and some glue saw it put back together strong as before. The helmets that had come loose were simple paint repairs. The Commander was where the work lay. He has been with this tank for the whole nine year span and was broken into three pieces. He is not the rubber that HL uses nowadays but actual plastic which was the reason he was damaged so badly. Everything was a clean break again so I used the magnifier to help align it back together where the paint had broken. All of his uniform is acrylic and luckily, I had some of the Afrika Yellow to redo his jacket. His helmet is a multi-layer job I could not hope to replicate and fortunately it buffed clean. Rust covered the glove repair and some facial repairs were needed but at the end, he is ready to resume command. Pictures:

Everything looking good Painless...would have been funny to make another commander with a bandage on his head....as it would add to the story lol....Just one remaining question...How did the canvas BUCKET fare?????????????????????????
