hl/tam ....tam a fair bit shorter than a hl ,glacis angle slightly different on the tam ,the side height is higher on the tam ,in comparison the tam has a stubby look to it ,prefer the hl ,so MY opinion is, looks more tam than hl and the turret slightly smaller due to the bustle ? at tad on the small side and this may make it look as if its sat back a bit ? and the turret not quiet as high ?

Will done CH,there's a big difference there so witch one is wrong if at all. The models are all 1/16th scale. How if that's the case did the company get it so wrong. Brian...

Keep in mind, the Shermans built with the Chrysler Multi-bank A57 were longer than regular Shermans as well! Those were mostly British Shermans though, the Ford v-8 engine was favored by the U.S.

That engine was pretty amazing tech at the time, even if it didn't perform much better than the big V-8s. 30cyl in a 5 point star shape, sooo cool. 8)

Here's an example on how to tell them apart. Just look at the space between the track wheels! The longer Sherman had a much more noticeable gap! Easy to tell when you know what to look for.

I have recieved my tanks and to be quite honest it must be the pictures. I have one beside me right now and it looks correct for what an A3 75mm should look like. I have several real examples not 15 minutes from my house and I compare my pictures of them and it actually looks pretty dang good other than the escape hatch on the taigen is a bit pronounced in comparison to the real one.
For a late production it is reasonably close.
