Well all the demo videos on the two sites I put up show it being tested on 1/16 so I'm guessing that's their target market, RCU and tank regiment both have the demo vids on there sites it's very recent news maybe a couple of days.....

I guess the important thing for IR battlers is how the IR performs, and the price. It's up against some stiff competition?

The SLU was Tamiya copy with additional functionality but seems to have died a death, so unless this one can do everything that a Clark/IBU/Elmod can do, or is ridiculously cheap, it is going to have to break into a saturated market.

I would love to see a tracked vehicle esc, eg one that has proportional motor control and good sound, but without IR, or turret control. Just a really cheap basic board that can be used for non-battling tanks. It's a part of the market that no one seems to have cornered...yet?

The only other option is to search around for cheap faulty systems that have lost the IR/Turret functionality but still have the motor drive and sound working?

@MichaelC - If you speak Chinese I think that you are worth your weight in gold!

It would be if I speak Mandarin which is the official language. I just speak a dialect, but the written part is all the same so I can get around with the simplified form that they use. They also use technical terms that I would only know in English so need to think about it and make an educated guess.

Back to the board, what the heck is 10 lighting option for ? I mean we are talking about a tank, not a parade flow.......... Front light, back light, Main gun, Turret MG, hull MG, search light, Convey/beacon light....... That's only 7 ?!?!?

Probably not...... It has a tank printed on the cover...... :-) Anyway, I am pretty sure it is for tanks. Regular size plugs, 140A power rating, and no, didn't see any ordering information or pricing anywhere....... I did peek around a little and didn't see any at all.

I'd take the 140a rating with aassice pinch of salt. A lot of the cheap Chinese esc seem to rate them based on the rating of the strongest components. Needless to say they don't get anywhere near that. So I probably wouldn't count on one for a 1:6 scale armourtek for example.
