the source material I have says that rumours from the frontline troops that the zim caught fire when hit was the reason they discontinued it...

I have used all the methods described here. Stencils with airbrush, microsol, laquer thinner, and even just plain old free hand brush painting. I like laquer thinner if I want it to look old and faded and worked in. If it is a complicated 2 or 3 tone number I really like the Montex stencils but you really have to plan when using them as they are applied at different levels of the painting process.

Just my 2 cents...

OK ...with all the Chemicals coming into play... A question of my own now appears.... Now I haven't used this "stick" on Zimmerit ... but... I have to wonder ....has anyone had any "LIFTING" problems ?....you know the adhesive softening and bubbling or just peeling away 8O
