Help with bridge?

Post by Plumbguy »

Anyone know how to build a basic bridge? It's to fit my 1/16th tanks and I'm kind of on a budget, it's my project for the 6 weeks holidays :haha: , thanks in advance.

Several details will need attention... first off what kind of bridge... second how long does it have to span... third... how much weight do you want it to hold.... after that finding images through Google will help...as most of the engineering will be done...all you have to do is follow the basic structure....stone bridges are the easiest... trestle the most tedious...especially when dealing with weight ;)

Good Luck

you will need to use an abrasive surface on the bridge deck otherwise the taks may not be able to climb over it.

I'll try a stone bridge to carry a HL Tiger I and Tiger II, preferably about 1 meter, with sand paper or some kind of gripping surface for the tanks, I'll hopefully update it as I go along. Thanks for the advise!

For the grip on the surface I put sand in the paint

Build it out of wood, then cover with glued on small stones with fine patching 0r resurfacing concrete as mortar between the stones . That will keep its weight down and also keep it from breaking into pieces if its not on perfectly level ground.
