Important Do's and Don't's

Grass will slow your tank down especially in turns. it adds a lot of resistance.

I'm with Shaun in that heavy looks right, but thats just me.
:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: Yup it does.. it also says not to shoot people and animals...but yet I've heard stories to the opposite effect lol.... I have to admit ..I don't baby my tanks...especially when test running them...as I like to see what they can really do :D

also don't forget your HI VIZ jacket also if you guys out there have more than lets say 5 tanks will you have to consult a elf and safety person if you run them all at once cheers Frank

Hi guys using my tank earlier to day when I put the forward lever to neutral the tank runs on ? is this something to do with the forward trimmer ? Frank

Adjust your trim to minimum ....the idle should change when you do that as well... then test it on a smooth surface just to see if from a dead stop it will move forward evenly...then adjust the trim again... if the idle changes...you have too much trim ...if the tank continues to move ...you have too much trim....it should stop cold when you release the lever ;)

DON'T: don't remove the batteries from the transmitter by slapping it...always pry them out...this goes double if your Tx is a Heng long. they are as delicate as an egg-one fall to the ground can totally kill a Tx. The maddening thing is often only one or two controls will go out-turret will not traverse, motors work on one side but not the other etc. With the HL 2.4 Tx its possible to swap parts inside since they plug in. Break enough of them and sure enough-SPARE PARTS...

If you are having trouble getting the red light to come on with the transmitter, often its just the batteries cant make proper contact. You know those dividers, the plastic molded ones, inside the battery bay-just grind them out. Not the ones between pairs of batteries, of course, only the plastic divider between the two batteries in each row. Still don't know why the designer added those dividers inside the battery bay, they're not needed and only cause problems.
