Ok so I got this like from Alpha and I've been waiting for my birthday to get some parts for my Tiger tank but this afternoon while looking I saw they're having a HECK of a 4th of July sale thats good thru the 10th of July. Case in point, I ordered the early road wheels for my Tiger on sale for $39.00 !!!!! Regular price is $109.00!!!! Thats a HELL of a deal!!! :O

Any of you fellow colonist rebels or anyone else you may want to check em out! http://www.matomart.com/homepage.php

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: Yup saw that earlier Jack...almost went for it... that's a deal...free shipping on it too :D
Careful though... If you are going to do your Heng Long... you might also want to get the metal suspension arms ... as I almost guarantee you that at least one of the plastic Heng Longs will crack .... I cracked four when I restored my Tiger...Lucky I had a "junk pile TiPanther" to salvage new ones from ;)

A very nice deal, I did quite well on my purchase of early Tiger 1 wheels and tyres from Dave " FORGEBEAR" they cost me £ 39.99 which included two complete axle sets, one for a TAIGEN Tiger and the other for a Heng Long Tiger. That is one of the reasons I keep going back to him, that and the fact that every order comes with something money apparently can't buy, SERVICE! shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Forge is cool...the only thing I don't like about him is that he is too Freakin popular :haha: :haha: :haha: I was going to get a set of T 74s for my Sherman...you all in the UK don't need to worry about asking cost for shipping.... long story short... just when I got the reply back from him ...his last set of tracks got sold :haha: :haha: :haha:
Another thing I like about his Auctions is what he has listed is pretty much what he has when it's gone it's gone... Which is contrary to Welsh... they list stuff...but it's never in stock
I do wish Forge had a shopping cart feature in his auctions though..I don't know if it costs him more to do it...but it would be much easier for us overseas guys to actually see a list in front of us when we want to buy stuff..and much easier to get a shipping quote...but that's aside the point
He's still a great guy ...and IMO..one of the most Attentive sellers I've had the pleasure of encountering :D
It's the reason I recommend him to UK tankers... as on the continent and here where I am... I know a lot more Asian and Mainland vendors and usually send them there first

Alpha, I ordered the road wheels, metal suspension and the metal idler wheels all for under $80.00 shipped! I couldn't resist and of course the wife is mad, I tried to explain I saved $70 but all she see's is that I spent money at all. *sigh* Oh well. I'll be adding to my build thread once the parts arrive.

That's SUPER Jack!... it is a good deal on those wheels... glad to hear you got the suspension arms as well...reason I didn't go for them is my Tiger runs like a bat out of Hell @) ...She's really something... has a manufacturer defect... they put tail lights in the front bezels :haha: ...made me thing of the movie Christine ....as she's pretty menacing in the dark lol...anyway... putting heavier wheels might do something to the way she is performing .... so I passed on the bargain

Pictures when they arrive Jack ........... please :D

Have fun with it

ALPHA

PS..wives can be like that... they like you to remember who's in control :haha: this is your first tank right? ... She'll come around ....Maybe ;) ........... :D

I only made the remark because of the headline in the Hawaiian Bugle that told of the Tank building mad axe murderer whom the constabulary suspected had 15 ex wives buried under the patio, Does this mean it was not you then? Now I am disappointed! :haha: shaun
