Looks like the basic Heng Long smoker that plugs into the rx 18 control unit. and can be switched on or off by a switch located on the tank bottom. It won't go on until you start the tank using the transmitter and the switch is in the on position. Don't expect huge amounts of smoke and they usually have enough smoke fluid already in them for at least 15 minutes of run time. Since the smoke is produced by a thin wire that is wrapped with wick that draws fluid from the reservoir (that's were the fluid goes when you squirt it into one of the 2 clear tubes) If you notice the smoke starting to stop pumping out the tubes or exhaust pipe if you've installed I, or a burning smell, SHUT IT OFF! The thin wire that heats up will melt unless it has smoke fluid in the wick that it is wrapped with. These units are known for their short life expendancy and low smoke output. If you go to ebay usa, rc tanks and military vehicles, someone is selling an improved version that uses a fan instead of the piston pump and has a separate fill tube that you can route to the upper hull to fill the reservoir. Its also proportional meaning that it smokes a little at idle and more and more as the tank accelerates. I think its usually priced about $50 US. The include a video clip of it working in their ad.
