Hi all,
I recently purchased a fully built , but badly modelled Tamiya KT on Ebay. The restoration is well underway with a raft of upgrades and detail work.
My question is, which RC transmitter/ receiver pack is recommended for the tank? In the past i used a futaba 4 channel.
I am working on a budget so looking for a reasonable deal if possible.
Cheers,
Stu

Re: Recommended Transmitter for Tamiya KT
If you still have the transmitter, maybe a Clark board might work. Assuming you have NO radio equipment for the tank itself you'd need the wiring for it to, to plug into the board. I just have casual knowledge of what's out there but it's all about heng long stuff, hopefully one of the experten members will be a long to give you a better answer.
I think I'd email the Clark company people, tell them what you already have and ask them what you'd need, if their product is right for your tank they'd probably know how to make it work.

If you have all the Tamiya electrics, the Tamiya recommended Futaba 4 channel controller works perfectly. Other guys state that the http://www.alwayshobbies.com/model-boat ... set-mode-2 works well too and is cheap. On my KT I used a 4 channel Carson RX/TX.
