Nice set of pics! I bet it was an epic day out! Thank you for sharing

I love the smell of napalm in the morning!
Re: My visit to the Tankfest at Bovington
It was indeed....with it being a Premier ticket, it included, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea..+ a goodie bag to take home....we also got a birds eye view of the interiors and, were able to see the Tiger return to the museum..for me though, the highlight was hearing that V12 Maybach....and...the Panther G in its stripped pyjama camo....

This Hetzer,...i loved this...it could knock out almost all of the allied tanks at over a 1000m with the exception of the Churchill,..yet it was only 8ft tall...pound for pound it was better than a Kingtiger, the machine gun on top was remote firing...

Re: My visit to the Tankfest at Bovington
If you do intend to visit this museum...May suggest you take a packed lunch...and your own beer...cos if you don,t,then your money won,t last long here...the entry price is reasonable..but thats all..everything else is expensive...£3.95 for a bottle of beer,£2.50 for a small cake, main meal 1 plate, £7.50..for mediocre cooking...small bowl of pom frites £2.50....and it gets worse in the souvenier shop....Hobby 16th Tank £225...you can get one on the net for £89...same one....and whatever you do....don,t let your children loose in the shop....cos..their pocket money won,t go far...apart from all that..the exhibits are nice...
