Re: Rc tank ariels and connectors ???
Hi Applelover786,
I am guessing that it is a heng long tank.... the two wires from the receiver and from the turret should both be black. They have two connectors which should plug into each other (one will be a male and the other a female) with a piece of black plastic heat shrink over the top to protect the joint once it is made.
The main flexible steel aerial now attaches to the top outside of the turret ( on the small brass nipple ) and you are ready to go. Is it a Walker Bulldog tank ?

Your not making it easy, are you
I'm guessing you have the asiatam recoil fitted?
In which case you need to trace the two wires.
One should go to the brass nipple ( which will be the Ariel)
The other should be an earth thats probably going
To one of the motors or the on/off switch.
More information would be helpful!

You cann see the two connectors one with a heating tube round it (red) and the blackone which comes from the reciever board
Re: Rc tank ariels and connectors ???
So the brass spigot that attaches the heng long piano wire aerial to the tank is fitted to the turret? looking at your picture it sure does look like an aerial connector. I may be wrong (not a tiger tank expert by any means) but I thought the historically correct position on the right hand side of hull top deck just in front of the grille. It might pay you to take a look at some of the tiger 1 build on here and see what others have done with aerials.
