This is the best reference I could find for those circular marks on the hull.

Good Evening,
Here is something from the Prime Portal site. It's not a pretty tank but there are some good close-ups.

Thanks. I have been using this page as a reference. I have not been able to find any thing better than this one on the site, but the front section on the model does not have the circular marks that the real KV1 has.

Something that caught my eye right away is that the horn on the HL is on the wrong side...

Yes. That is something I discovered doing my research on the bracket. I decided not to mess with the horn at this point.

Good morning fellas ,Great stuff ! Have you seen these sites - Model development = http://www.armchairgeneral.com/forums/s ... hp?t=77660 Lots of photo's etc. = http://www.kv1ehkranami.narod.ru/index.html , Niel Stokes = http://www.4bogreen.com/kv-series , and for surviving vehicles ( not just KV's )= http://legion-afv.narod.ru/KV.html . Btw , those 'rings' - the armour was initially screwed together prior to final welding .
to the bouncy room ! Yay !

Really... everything I've found has the horn is right were it should be... except in most photo's it's busted off ...even the instruction sheet that came with the resin turret has the horn and the light in that location
