Been asked for a photo of the KV with my Tiger to show the size difference - quote a beast despite its ten ton weight deficit.

Tracks on, masking tape off, ready for next weekends battle day.

Then back to the work bench for camo and detail painting.

The KV looks good, nice job. I have to ask, because I'm looking at buying one myself, would you buy it again knowing what you know about the kit?

Thanks Joe, she'll look even better in a few weeks.

Yes, definately, I would love to build one again. The kit goes together well, nothing majorly difficult but a pleasure to build, like all tamiya kits.

Thank you. Now it's between the KV-1 and the Jagdpanther. I have four Tamiya tanks and as you said, a pleasure to build.

I've just ordered the Panzer IV, gone for that next as the Jagdpanther, Panther, Tiger and King Tiger all sound the same.

Nice to have different sounding tanks!

I've never considered the sounds being the same but you are correct. So I guess a KV would sound like my JS-2? But that wouldn't deter me from buying the KV-1.

Mostly hidden behind the plastic casing or replace it on this kit?

Great work Paul, certainly brings the big square beast to life!

Thank you again for being talked into painting it :D
