Evening all,
As my 6x6 build is nearly complete aside from the painting I thought in true modelling tradition I'd start another build . This time I'm doing a German supply truck based on the heng long chassis, firstly a big thank you to Wayne ( midlife306 ) for 3D printing the cab for me and also Alwyn for supplying his perfectly designed 3D printed driveshaft extensions, cheers guy's . It's still in the early stages but I've modified the cab to fit onto the heng long chassis and scratch built the cargo bed and started fixing the wooden panels to it. The front suspension has had to be moved forward and I've fitted dual wheels to the rear axel the same as on my 6x6 build , there's no canvas cover for this one so it's going to be filled with plenty of stowage and barrels which are going to house the sound emulator and speaker, I'm going with the same electronics set-up as my 6x6 build, here's a couple of pics of it so far,
Cheers, Lee.
