Has any body seen 'Lebanon' yet? It's am Israeli film based on the director's own experiences.
It's brilliantly made and absolutely harrowing. Out on DVD and well worth a look.

yes very good film shows the intensity of being stuck in a tank.

I watched this on Netflix a while back, certainly brings it home. Not an occupation for the claustrophobic.

Talking about claustrophobic! During WWII, tankers reported almost being crushed by their tanks after the vehicle's weight caused it to settle into the ground somewhat while they were asleep under it during rainstorms and such. Now that would be an eye opener of a fatal kind. Ouch!
