Kriegslokomotive BR 52 der Reichsbahn

Post by Tigerfan »

Hello friends

As always, I wanted to be big.

It should be this locomotive of the Reichsbahn.

Just as the Panzer IV was the workhorse among tanks, the BR 52 represented the same among the locomotives.

I started drawing and lasering the first parts about 2 weeks ago.

Somehow the whole thing has pulled me under its spell that I'm really already very far.

Well that was a small extract of the parts

More pictures will come tomorrow

Oh, big project. That's a lot of parts to draw from pictures. For sure, using the Trumpeter 1/35 kit and triangulate the scale would be a good way to get shapes and measurements for each parts. But it looks like you have no trouble.

If i may ask, what's the plan for the tracks ?

Hello railroad friends

Thanks for your comments

To the questions

Yes it is 1:16 scale.

I'm just building that standard.

The Trumpeter kit is also used for the implementation.

There are a lot of small parts that have to be drawn and printed.

But it will be a great model I can already say that

So continue with pictures of the tender

Work horse of German railway. After the war over 1200 of them was used in Poland as Ty2. Three of them are still operational and many are now museum pieces or monuments.

I wonder if you are planning to sell it as a kit?
