Re: Old linburg line flecher class destroyer
I build a fully functional French style Guillotine for the same history class. Even had a figure dressed like French aristocrats that laid on the table with a head that was chopped off and fell in a basket when the blade fell.
My first complete scratch build project. It was about whatever scale Barbie dolls are supposed to be.
The nun kept it on her desk with the blade down so the other kids wouldn't be tempted to stick their fingers into it to see if the blade was really sharp.
(it was really sharp) but not heavy enough to cut through bone more then a nick .

LOL...Always wanted to build one of those....Never got around to it though Figured I had enough Sharp objects around in the way of Knives and such...so a Guillotine would probably just end up taking space
Very Cool Giant....did you ever photograph it

No. It sat at home until my sister entered high school and she took it in for her history class. From what a I gather from her, her teacher never returned it to her and she didn't bother to try to find out where it ended up.
Re: Old linburg line flecher class destroyer
Probably why I never made one....figured it I took it anywhere..people might think it's a weapon and take it away lol

It was pretty neat. Could chop the end off a cigar no problem.
