Hybrid Panther Ausf. G

Post by panzerrob »

Hi all,

I want to show you my current project: a hybrid Panther, made from a Wecohe hull, Tamiya turret and wheels, Atak zimmerit SBS Model parts and some Shapeway parts.

It started with the Wecohe parts:

That resulted in this:

It will be a static Panther, as there will be a huge amount of figures on it.

Next came the turret and Atak zimmerit:

The zimmerit was intended for the Tamiya Panther, but fitted the Wecohe hull pretty good!

In the mean time, a shipment of Jeff shiu figures arrived:

Then it was time to put some primer on the Panther:

The grey C hook and tow shackles are a SBS Model parts, as well as this working Escape hatch:

Please note that the metal part is not included in the kit (it is a left over Wecohe part) as this hatchnis intended for the Trumpeter Panther!

And now it is time for figure painting, something I do not really like:

Well, this is the story so far!
I hope you like it.

 You have enviable skills and quite an ability to choose and install great detail parts. I am impressed, eager to see you upcoming photos, and no little jealous. ;D

I can't believe this hasn't had more comments! Got to love a good Panther, and this is looking really nice. Keep up the progress reports and good quality pics.
