recoil unit wiring

Post by finn »

Hi, had an earlier query regarding wiring when fitting high intensity flash unit to old airsoft Tiger 1. My knowledge of electronics is zero however received helpfull advice from Jarlath. However ditched the airsoft and went with recoil unit and flash unit. Found good wiring diagram, all sort of makes sense except, for and I'm sure this question has been asked before, where does the ground(-) wire connect to?. Also 2 wires (blue & white) from recoil unit connected to on/off switch in turret seems obvious but on/off for what?!?

Can you put the image up of this wiring diagram? Without seeing it, it is hard to determine which wires you are discussing.

;) Hello
Hello, on the Asiatam recoil, the big wire: red or black, depending on the case (Chinese logic?) Connects to the minus, at the inter general output. For blue and white, you have to remove the existing inter and connect these two wires together (by insulating them, of course)

do not take into account the colors of the other threads, which vary according to the goodwill of the manufacturer 8O
this inter was used in the case of a ball system (airsoft)

The blue and white wires to the on/off switch are for the recoil motor of the recoil unit they turn the power on/off 1 is on the positive terminal on the elevation motor the other is connected to the positive on the recoil motor you can just join them together.
The earth wire will depend on what board your using.

Hi thanks for the replies. Now understand what the 2 wires for the recoil unit are for. The motherboard is a Taigen V3, so do I connect the earth (-) from the recoil unit to a negative supply from the motherboard, if so where, or to the main power supply to the motherboard.

your v3 board should have the black wire with a sleeve on it thats the extra earth wire for the recoil unit
