ID help, please: what have I here?

Post by Herr Dr. Professor »

Encouraged by my experience with the M10, ( :lolno:) I made a haul via a friend of a friend of a friend. Can anyone confirm my guesses about what I have?

1) Is this a Clark board? Is that a receiver or some kind of sound board to the right? The receiver to the left reads Hobby King, but I suspect its a re-branding. Is it?

2) I think this is an Elmod with a Turnigy receiver. Correct?

3) Might this be a Benedini? Is the receiver attached already?

I also got this unidentified non-flying smoke unit. What is it?

And to boot...a bunch of speakers. That big one should be able to blast out the nearest neighbors two acres of woodland away!

Great! Thank you jhamm! I knew folks on RCTW would nail it right away: I didn't think it would be within less than five minutes! Way to go!

Now I can start a debate.

A) Is there a transmitter that would handle all four of the boards and receivers?

B) I would guess (hope! 8O ) that I should be able download software by which to program these boards, no? (If not, my "haul" is a hee-haw. )

A) Any transmitter will do. Better aprogrammable one like the radiomaster.

B) yes, indeed there are softwares for that. The elmod free to download at elmod website, the benedini as well after you contact him, the ibu 2 does not needit.

I have bookmarked the web sites for various RC electronics manufacturers, and I need to spend time looking through them to see what I can learn. I will see what I can learn about Radiomaster, too. I wish there were an RC Tank Club around here where I might pester experienced tankers for edu-ma-ca-shun. However, I am experience at learning by reading and trial-and-error.
