Hey guys, I have been testing and reviewing the newest Beier electronics.

I think it is worth to read it, because as today, it beats everything I have ever had or seen, and you all know that comming from me, means a lot, lol.

This board is not the same, my friend. That is the one for trucks, but not for tanks. The one I am writting about has 4 servos, double speed controllers for the motors, speed controllers for turret functions, BB gun support, battle unit, flash, smoke and more.

Yes Yes Rad but did you like it :haha: :haha: :haha:
A nice write up that answers most of my questions but I am an old man who does not care for change so I still run Windows 7 (Professional) although I do have a brand new still boxed PC with Windows 10 that just needs plugging into a Modem and when the hard drive on this puter gives up I will go to it,
So will the Beier board work with Windows 7 ?
Anyway thanks for a very informative review
And guess what I can count to a hundred in German and order a bockwurst und bier bitte :haha:
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hi Shawn, I only tested it in my Windows 10, so I don't see why it should not work on Windows 7. As long as you install the drivers included in the DVD rom, should be fine. We are not talking about using windows 95, lol.

Sorry about that. Only trying to help. It looks like it's only obtainable from Germany. Hopefully this is the right one https://www.beier-electronic.de/modellb ... sprache=gb

Damn! I want one. Is it really worth swapping out my Tiger’s Elmod? I have everything set exactly how I want it already. I also suppose it’s almost too much board for my fledgling gunboat project. How many different xenon cannon flashes does it support. I would like to have two or three for the ships cannons.
This a great time in history for rc electronics! Thanks for the awesomeness review!

On schematics is only one xenon flash. IMHO it's not worth to change from elmod if you have everything setup as you want already.

Hi Jimster, I copy and paste the answer here and in the other forum:

You all know I like my Elmod board, but if comparing both of them, side to side, this Beier wins in absolute every aspect.

I would never use the Elmod board in any boat because those inertias cannot be disabled. I do like the inertias/momentum but sometimes I just need to fully remove them. A boat in the water has already enough inertias for adding what the Elmod does. I think we would have no control over the boat so I definitelly would never use it in any ship unless you can drop a scale anchor that really works. But you would still have problems when accelerating.

About the xenon cannon flashes, the Beier has "only" one, for the flash Heng Long unit... But has another 16 light outputs that you can use for triggering the cannons of your boat at your will, shooting one, in pairs, one side of the boat, all of them at the same time... All of that can be done. Light management is unmatched!

If you ask me if it is worth to replace the Elmod in your tiger with this Beier, I'd say yes for the following reasons:
Being able to remove inertias and selecting between two driving profiles flicking a switch.
More user sounds with better sound quality, no speaker hishing, and no ESC whine.
Loads of lights more that can grant you any wish you might have. Feel free to have your rolling christmas tree.

So definitely, yeah, I'd do it. In fact if I could afford them, I would swap all my boards. Some of you guys know how I loved my ASP 2 from Rc tanks australia so imagine when I say I am starting to save for getting the smaller version Beier board for my son's Sherman.
