Taigen wiring

Post by Tankerdave »

Hi. I’m new to this rc business (3 years) and have two tanks. My problem is with my Taigen IR Panzer III which won’t fire the high intensity light. I know nothing about electronics, so I am hoping to get specific answers to my specific question. There is a blue wire in the turret to hull cable that is not connected at either end. What do the ends fit into. There is a large red wire that comes out of the turret that is not plugged into anything. Where does that go? There is also a black wire that comes out of the V3 motherhood, where does that go? I have also been told to add another black wire to the on/off switch, but not told what to connect it to.
Your help much appreciated.

Probably it's ground wire. It should be connected with wire from motherboard.

Best to do an introduction first rather than hello i have a problem before someone jumps in and starts having a go. You will find you get more help that way.
Then look at what the tank is doing does the gun recoil when fired and make the gun firing sound ? if not its not triggering the micro switch
Does the turret have 360 rotation ? if so it changes the colour of the wires
