Taigen board issue

Post by Ludwig von wigbearer »

Hi all, i have a issue with a taigen board and wonder if anyone can help.
Everything works fine except when firing the main gun the tank cuts out (engine sound), it starts up again and
as before it all works until the gun is fired.
I have unpluged the gearbox motors from the board and then it fires and continues to run, tried different gear
box motors and it still cuts out, it is IR with recoil, i have also tried 2 fully charged batteries out without joy.

I had some weird behaviour with my previous rx unit. At some point it lost some functions permanently. But I also had intermittent loss of sound. The board was shelfed if you wonder about the solution. I got the 5.3 version instead.

John Was it a Taigen V2/3 Board ? If it was Taigen might be interested in knowing about such issues.

Hi Shaun, its the early board, the one without the separate sound module, its a bit annoying as i have had the
tank a couple of years and its basicaly unused and i was intending to move it on, i am going to try another board this afternoon to see if that helps
