OpenTX mixing for tracked models

Post by jimbo_wa »

This guy does really good videos for OpenTx and lots of quad stuff - may be of interest for some of the larger scale builds without a TCB?

I purchased off eBay a small device for providing control of two motors for tracked vehicles. It has two BEC leads for channels 1 & 2 that go from a hobby type receiver to a mixer module that then has two BEC leads out to the motors' ESCs. It is tunable in how the mixes are interpreted by two small adjustment screws. It's cheap and works a treat but its not branded so l can't give a search string.

You could probably achieve the same on a good trannie using multiple mixes but this is compact and convenient. Worth a search if you need one.
