tamiya DMD T-03

Post by jbernielh »

I built a Tamiya Tiger 1 about 2002.. used it a bit over a couple years and then put it away on the shelf.. the grandsons are getting older and would like to have fun with it so I took it down the other day and started going through it..

new batteries and repairs to the very weak attach points for recoil and barrel elevation.. everything seems to be functioning okay now..

my question that I couldn't seem to answer by playing with it is this.. on the T-03 you have the "set" button and next to it is the "rudder" steering trim adjustment.. next to that is another adjustment marked "m.gun"... I have no idea if this refers to machine gun or main gun and what it's supposed to accomplish.. even the tamiya information on the T-03 doesn't seem to address it's function.. anybody?

Main gun - if the gun moves when you are operating the tank or the features, you can stop it by twisting that knob.
