As I said before if your getting a green light on the dmd your radio is working properly
Have you checked your battery? If your getting sound briefly and then it's cutting out it sounds like a bad battery where the voltage is dropping below cut off when you try and do something but has enough juice to start up
System won’t initialize......HELP!

I'll give this a try. Both of the batteries are currently showing 7.5v on my voltmeter. As I haven't needed the 7.2v batteries yet, i'll need to charge them on the fancy schmancy charger I just bought. I'll report the findings later tonight or tomorrow.

Re: System won’t initialize......HELP!
Well..........those of you who had "check batteries" as my issue......DING.......you win.....sorta.
I took my battery gear to a friend’s place (he’s an RC car guy) and he said that it was too easy to fit the banana plugs into my battery. He susggested flaring the sections of the plug so it could make better contact with the terminal wells. I used an X-acto knife and did just that. Viòla....the system lit up like she’s supposed to.
Many thanks to the RCTW "intelligencia" for the guidance.....I’ll have more pics as I finish the build.
