Biere USM RC2 Sound module

Post by h5djr »

I am considering fitting one of these sound boards to the Tamiya Jagdpanther I am building to get a better and more realistic sounds.
Has anyone used one of these boards?
Thanks

hello h5djr

i've three -two already fitted and working. but they are the model made to be used with HL electronics, the USM-HL.

for the most part they are almost equal, in the running and sound quality at least.

You have to be aware, that if you want to exploit it's capabilities you will have to work hard, or find an already done profile that suits your preferences.

I spent HOURS looking for the real sounds of the Tiger to build the profile i'm using on mi Tiki. I advice you to use a HQ speaker. I use a 85mm mylar cone on my Köti (iht has more room) and a visation 50mm FRS7 on my Tiger.

this is a quick video a did far ago of my sound profiles. On the KöTi one i did use the engine sounds of a panther because i did'nt found anything decent on the koti side. Until some weeks ago, they released some vids form the Saumur KöTi in the Paris Retromobil and i eill redo the profile using the engine sounds from this cat.
