Tam Battle system alternatives

Post by TKcommander »

With no TBS available worldwide it would seem (Tam battle apple is marked as discontinued!!) I need some pointers to get my Tam Sherman IR battle spec please.

What options do I have currently available and where? Need the whole system and had hoped I wouldn't have to build from components on my first system.

Thanks in advance any help would be appreciated.

I would go for the impact unit, same as tamiya but cheaper. Available from mitosal.com. I was looking at getting one and postage is very reasonable!

Thanks Tom, had seen these but know nothing about them. Reliability, service from mitosal.com?

Not that much help but got an Apple from them.
About half the price of a tamiya
Edit: with postage it was about £50

Thanks Dragon, I have seen your thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12338

I have now ordered one and hope I don't encounter similar problems. Do post when you have a resolution. Cheers.

Customer service has always been good and postage is usually about five working days. Also they always estimate value at £15 so no customs entanglements....
