Seperate threads for tanks

Post by xrad »

What do you guys think about a seperate catagory for each type of HL tank?

Example: instead of all posts jumbled together, we could look up 'Heng Long' and then 'STUG' and all our builds and variants of the STUG could be under one catagory

do you mean under builds ? and seperating them up just makes everything more akward, and you cant as easily 'browse' the forum you have to look into each board.

Xrad, this is such a nice idea and realy should have been implimented at the start of Rctankwarfare but wasn't , it would be a pain in the butt to have to move every topic into the relavent section and would take he moderation teams time away from the enjoyment of building, modifying, running tanks and going to meets to have a battle or three, so I don't think it will happen, hobby havoc is set up the way you have suggested and whilst it is a nice site, sometimes folk on there post stuff in the wrong section causing problems for their admin and moderation team. also if this was implimented you would have to do this in the tamiya builds section and all of the other build sections too

since many of our tanker posts deal with HL tanks, I was only thinking of doing that section. I think we definately have more HL builders than any other model brand. I would volunteer time if needed.

It would be very easy to sort out the posts(only 2400 of them). just do a title search in HL section for example 'Tiger'..and then drop these into the 'tiger' section. 'Jagdpanther' into jp section..etc...

those that don't fit into any catagory right off the bat can be sorted later.

No more from me about this. I leave it up to the board.
