out of box review section

Post by capt midnight »

I had a thought about something like this as I open up my new Tiger I that just arrived today. How about a section devoted to just out of the box reviews? Something like a group of pictures as the tank is unboxed, showing the different parts and what exactly is included and how it looks fresh from the factory. Maybe even shots of the interior of the vehicle.

I got to thinking about this when I opened my newest up. It's a new version Tiger with the new controller and dual sound. Something like this would be a big help to persons new to the hobby, giving them an idea on what to expect.

If this seems like something we want to do, I can send in some pictures of my Tiger.

Thanks for the time,

Bill

A new section sounds good to me.
Most of the folk in the hobby (like me) take great delight in receiving a new RTR tank.
Where did you get your new Tiger with dual sound ?

Not a bad idea, it saves people using the show off thread. Leave the show off thread for tanks that have been worked on and a dedicated thread for new purchases..

Great suggestion, and very timely. Well, there's no time like the present...and there's nothing so nice as a present--- from Me to Me, that is ;) (or You to Yourself, of course :haha: )....
So, let's get the ball rolling, or is it ballbearing!
This arrived this morning, as if I didn't already have enough projects to last a lifetime! Its a magical box of goodies, and I can't wait to dip into it... like with a box of mixed chocolates. It already has that 'feel' of quality about it. Even the packaging smacks of precision and detail...like an Apple iMac box :D B u t tttt.,..woahh there..it will have to wait. ;)
Box of magic tricks..
Box of magic tricks..
Once in a lifetime (?!) self-indulgence?
Once in a lifetime (?!) self-indulgence?
and voila...what a pleasure..like a Pirate's treasure.. :lolno:
