tx 7 sound

tx 7 sound

the sound has gone off on my v7 board
any ideas please

I did blow the speaker./.new one fitted all ok now.

check that the volume setting is not at the minimum, or a unsoldered thread ,the same for the HP socket on the turntable or on the HP if accessible, test the loudspeaker by making quick contact with a 4.5 volt battery, must hear sizzling, after all that, if still nothing, card worries? good luck. Do tests with another HP if possible ...

I bet the speaker. the new small round one seems not to be able to cope with the newer H/L MFU's............
