Hi everyone
Been a while since been in here family life and work
My heng long tiger 27 MHz is playing up when you use 2 function at same time it stops or goes bananas
Think the rx18 is shot so looking to up grade to 2.4 ghz
I have a planet 4 channel transmitter and receiver brand new in box which I intended to use on my sdkfz 250.
Is it worth using this with a new board and binding it to both
Or buying a Henglong upgrade tramiterand reciver ect
Many thanks
Tony

Re: 27mhz upgrade
Hi there Mr daktari.
Would this be happening while trying to shoot at the same time as something else?
It could be that you have a near dead battery.
I honestly think it's time to get an aftermarket board, it won't be that much more expensive. Unless you purchase one of the expensive ones.
I'm not familiar with your controller, but if it can be set up for multiple receivers and you can get extra receivers, there's no point getting another controller if you're going the aftermarket board rout.
And lastly, your controller won't bind with a 2.4 gig RX 18, they're incompatible.

Re: 27mhz upgrade
You're welcome
Glad I could help, and it was the simplest and first thing to check.
Oh, and it saves a few bob on another control board
