There are a number of identifiers,
I assume you also got a Transmitter with the Tank?
Does the Tank have a whip aerial on the centre of the engine? and does the front of the Transmitter which will be all chrome fronted and labelled SENDER in red have three buttons on the lower centre and on the lower right a sticker with a number between 01 and 10?
If yes then you have a 27MhZ Analogue (Early) Tank,
You can confirm that by opening the Tank and the connections to the control board are soldered in place.
If the Transmitter is a black fronted one with no adornments it is a 2.4 GhZ Digital and to confirm it you should open the Tank and look at the Control board, in the centre it should have a silver panel with "RX18" written on it, All the connections will be plugged into the sockets of the Control Board,
And if the Transmitter has a Chrome panel in the centre between the two control wands and the control board has a fan covering the control board with the smoker control on the transmitter you have the latest Heng Long Tank.
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
