Just wondering who else does boards that work with macs, are IBU boards mac compatible now?
For IBU2 is no Configurator required, therefor it´s mac compatible.
The old IBU3 need a Configurator, that is only for Windows available.

Many thanks Ronnie, don’t know what’s going on. I’ve gone through the permissions thing.....still no joy.

What version Elmod software are you using please fella. I’ve tried both config and the app...... very strange.

I had a IBU2 Pro, it worked perfectly with my Mac using TextEdit.....
Take care..........Gary

Hi Its version 1.29 have not looked to see if newer versions are available. Quite like the setup no pulling cards and easy to adjust all the functions.

When you say it doesn't work, what is happening?

I use Windows for Elmod configuration, it's the one and only use I have for the OS, I use Linux for everything else, hence my laptop has a dual boot OS, the desktop is pure Linux.

On the Windows desktop I have two versions of the Elmod software, depending on the firmware on the board I am programming, one version will work ok, but I have to use a different version of the Elmod software to program the other. It seems that an advancement in the firmware/board design has rendered the older firmware/boards incompatible, and I can't be bothered to upgrade the firmware on the incompatible one.

The various versions of firmware and configuration software can be downloaded, so it might be worth trying various combinations. Details of what has been changed with various releases are here:

Thanks for the reply......, in a word “nothing” is happening.

The old config software says damaged file and will not load......Thomas is aware of this and says it’s not comparable with newer Mac OS. The app downloads but will not connect via USB to my MacBook. Guess I could go down the Bluetooth route, but ain’t prepared to throw more cash than I already have forked out, and not going down the windows route. Happy days.....have to live with it.
Take care..........Gary

Had to relent, picking up a really cheap 2nd user dual boot android/windows tablet later today. Hopefully that will end my problems with tweaking the ElMod Fusion, keep you posted.

Adam that’s very kind of you to offer thank you but, hopefully this will do the trick.......
