Dad's family were Connors, and Harans, and possibly 'Playboys of the Western World' (to misquote Synge)-
but, the salute when slurping single malt (be it from the Highlands, or Ireland) is still 'Slainte!!...
usually followed by any old toasts to justify the next round :haha: :crazy:
After a night like that, or several, that's when you get to see 'the little people' (Leprechauns- but could be 'pink elephants'!) :haha:

Happy Paddies Day.
Well, I'm half Welsh, almost half English, but I've got a diluted bit of Scotch in me, and the only Irish in me is their coffee from time to time :D
