A heartfelt thank you.
Over the last few weeks friends have been very kind with their cheering comments wishing me and my lady well at what has been a concerning time in our lives either on the Forum or through a PM and now for a few months I can regain my placid place here before going back into the care of the NHS sometime in the spring,
The coming New Year which just a few months ago looked as dark as the previous 9 months now offers a long waited sunny horizon and with that I say thank you everyone and a very happy New Year.

I think I am about to upset someone

Relieved to see the seasoned campaigner back on parade. Ditto with all the other sentiments, and hope you and Jan have a relaxing, and warming slurp ce soir Glühwein would be just about perfect.

I echo what the other folks said (since they said it better than I could have). I'm glad to hear that the outlook is brighter. We NEED your input on the forum for many years to come! -Mike
