Great! Trouble is if you offend them there's nothing to stop them putting your number on repeat call!

I've also noticed that scam callers are able to show false numbers on your caller display and even send you text messages using valid bank numbers. This means that a scam text can be added to a valid banks text 'thread' which can look very convincing. When l told my bank about this they acknowledged this was happening but said there's nothing they could do to stop it. Ain't technology great ??

I just go by the knowledge that banks don't ask for sensitive details. And would NEVER ask for pin numbers

I've not had a number call me back yet, especially as I've wasted so much of their time..

They do! Natwest ask for 'your second and forth' number for telephone banking for example and the two numbers they ask for changes so they could collect the full set. This occurs primarily when you call them though. However, you can just smell a scam.

Yeah, they have to verify it's your account when you call them.
And yeah, you can usually tell when it's a scam.
