Great interview about German WWII armor with Hilary Doyle

Post by Lert »

World wide respected tank historian Hilary Doyle being made to look like a halfling by the 6'7" tankie Nicholas 'The Chieftain' Moran:

Learned many things, like that the armor on a JagdPanzer 38(t) is WWI tech and about half as effective as WWII era face-hardened homogeneous steel.
JagdPanther / Leopard 2A6 / StuG Ausf. G / KV-2 / M4A3A4 / MTLB / 2.5 ton truck 6x6

Awesome video , interesting on how German production . Trying to tweak certain tanks
On transmission and engine . Evan problems on getting act certain wheels of the panther . Had to
Two out to get at one . Supposed of a three hour job for that lmao . Despite it was renowned to be the medium tank of World War Two .

Thanks for posting this Mr Lert

Well, I would never have guessed the late Tiger 1 still had rubber tyres but with a steel rim around the rubber, that was very interesting to me 8)
