Mobile Phone crash.
I love a good conspiracy theory,
The BT Mobile Network went down this morning and yesterday BT announced that the Chinese supplier of electronic hardware to BT was having all of "Huawei''s" hardware removed from all of BTs property because of security worries,
Coincidence, Yeah right.

I thought 'Hauwei' was a Geordie expression.
Hmmm..
Much of Britain is run, and owned, by foreign interests (including foreign governments) these days. Perhaps we could sell MI6 to the Chinese, or do they already own it?

Roy you are not to far away from the truth. Harold "Kim" Philby was a senior member of the British Security Service and was next in line for the job of Director General of the Service when doubts started to be raised as to his bona fides,
At the time of his defection he held the rank of Brigadier in the KGB

Which does of course beg the question, knowing that the company is owned by the Chinese Govt, and knowing that any electronic device has the potential for in built hacking circuitry, who made the decision to install it within our communications hub, and why?

Re: Mobile Phone crash.
I wonder if this has anything to do with O2 having data problems at roughly the same time as BT?

Crossed my mind too, as my iPhone connects to O2. O2 used to be BT Cellnet until BT decided that mobile tech business wasn't going to make much money, and flogged it off. Just goes to show how well the former public owned company was managed, eh?Son of a gun-ner wrote:I wonder if this has anything to do with O2 having data problems at roughly the same time as BT?
Maybe the BT legacy tech O2/Cellnet took with it, has some connection with the suspiciously simultaneous O2 outage.

Re: Mobile Phone crash.
I am with Talk Talk, I am pretty certain that O2 are taking over the TalkTalk mobile business. Speaking as someone who has a tech background it would come as no surprise to me to find out that someone pushed the button to merge the two databases, and either it has slowed the system down whilst it updates, or something was missed during testing and the system fell over.
