Re: Max-U52's first car. . . . What's your ride?
I ran across this interesting car by accident while making some repairs at a clients house who could no longer drive, I wanted to post it up just because of the price I paid for it....
$1000 US
This is exactly how I found it.
Yes that's right a 1968 corvette convertible with a four speed and 350 ci V8 in the condition you see in this photo. Although not all original, I think it's a great bargain

Carl, if I had your luck I wouldn't need a job!! What a steal. I hope you gave them a good discount on the repairs to the house!!

Gary yes I did yes indeed Mick, if I paid low retail on this I would never have had the chance to get it home. I've put some money into it since the purchase three years ago.
Tanks alot....

Let's see, 28mm is 1/64th scale, 1/64th of $2,000 is just over $31. Nah, still too much. Maybe next time?Son of a gun-ner wrote:I'll sell you one of mine for that. . . . . Mind you, you'd have to shrink down to 28mm and the doors don't openMax-U52 wrote:Any time you want to sell I'll give you two thousand for it.
