Welcome aboard from Southern Illinois! Wife and I just took a trip out Yellowstone.
The Tiger’s my favorite (and only) tank but my scale is 1/16. 1/6 is way to expensive and cumbersome for my old ass. Be sure to use our search feature for lots of good reading.

Welcome to the Forum down here in the Southern Rockies of Colorado.
Plenty to discover and have Fun with on RCTW. The previous Builds, Showoff and Tank of the Month offer great and innovative ideas. Pics of your Tank are always appreciated.

Welcome, Steve!. Ah, so you got the 'bug again'.It's a familiar story. :D
I think, it's a bit like the cold sore virus; you never get completely rid of it. Every now and then, it breaks out, and you're forced into medicinal 'retail tank therapy'.
By the way, I always associate 'Cheyenne' with the TV western series, starring the late, towering, Clint Walker. Anyway, a warm welcome from the Highlands.
Do post some pics of your handiwork when you can!.

Yeah! Another colonial! I attack from Wisconsin: we're taking over. >:< Have fun here in 1/32, 1/24, 1/16, 1/11 (there is one), 1/18, 1/12, and 1/6. There are fine folks from just about everywhere jammering away every day on RCTW (including me).

Hi Steve.

Welcome from SE Pennsylvania.

My tank stable consists of a 1/16 Taigen Tiger I and Sherman, along with a yet to be started Tamiya Panther Kit.

I have been in the process of converting Dragon’s 1/6 Sherman static Kit to RC. But it is proving to be a much longer project than I ever imagined.

Jimster is correct about how expensive 1/6 can be, and you do need to plan ahead regarding moving and transporting the beast, as they can be very heavy and quite awkward to move around.

You’ve undoubtedly heard the phrase “Go Big or Go Home”. There’s a “WOW” factor that 1/6 has that smaller scales just can’t match. But 1/16 is great, especially if you get stricken with the need/desire to have more than 1 tank.

Whichever way you go have fun.

Frank

A very late Hello from Mid Missouri,

I only know about the far NE section of Wyoming. Sheridan, Gillette, and I 90 area, lived in Seattle and went home to visit my Native Wisconsin every Fall. Refreshingly wide open and low population too! At any rate, enjoy yourself here and have fun!

Cheers,
Eric.
