Hi, Welcome to the Forum
The Heng Long Panzer 4 is an inaccurate representation of that vehicle,
With work it can be improved the most effective being the fitting of Taigens latest PZ4 Turret which of itself makes a marked improvement but the Heng Long and indeed the Taigen PZ4 body's are still in need of much work,
And that is why most people give it a decent paint job and leave it at that BUT if you are interested in producing a PZ4 that actually resembles the prototype there are plenty of us on the Forum willing to help.
Ask the questions and we will try to find the answers and we are only too glad to get your answers
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Welcome bogey. Two tanks is a nice start- gives you the opportunity to bounce between them.

What part of the world are you from?

Hello! The Panzer IV is a favorite--almost as much as the Tiger I, the all-time favorite. That means ooh-goo-gobs of useful information online, in books, magazines, and, of course, here on RCTW. You will also find the same great number of pages of advice and answers to your questions on electronics, etc., etc., etc. And my guess from your login name you are already helpfully experienced, especially with airborne RC. Welcome!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the warm welcome.
The 4 is mainly going to be a test bed for electronics and paint. Alas my modelling and painting skills are not as good as they used to be.
At the moment I want to produce a nice running tank based on that platform... ultra accuracy is a deep and long rabbit hole I have been down before.
That said I want the Tiger to be a better representation when I get to it.
Flyingbogey, I can see the airborne link but its the nickname for my sports car. Actually I was a marine RC modeller before tanks... and mainly of submarines...

Just for giggles I also have a 1/35 tamiya tiger 1 which I am retro fitting HL electronics to just to see if I can...
