New to forum

Post by NYK999 »

Hi, new to forum and new to tanks, bought a Mato Tiger as it looked rather nice. Experience with gliders and drones. Recently designed and scratched built the internals for my 1.6metre type VII U bolt, entailed quite a bit of engineering.

Welcome aboard! I would love to order an Arkmodel 1/48 type 7! I drool over the YouTube videos. Unfortunately my modeling projects are spread to dangerous levels already.

Hello there! Your experience will make you fit right in here, NYK999. Might the NY in NYKstand for New York, or am I being too much the "Murrican"? :D

The Tiger is undergoing a respray, I left it sitting in the window and the sun bleached the paintwork that was exposed to the sun leaving me with a two tone tank! What’s more, that was British sunshine so not exactly Sahara desert strength. Below are some photos of the sub with a part painted Tiger to its right.

Although not a tank, I thought you may be interested to see a pic of my other toy, although this one weighs in at 12 tons. For the uninitiated it’s a Mk6 Saracen APC

Hello and welcome
I remember the Saracen was a popular run a round in NI back in the 70s, the Saracens on the news were mostly on fire.
All the best
