I bought an E Bike on line last year and it is great BUT don't believe them when they say you will get 40+ miles between charges,
If you get 15 you are doing well but with judicious use of the gears you just might make 20 just don't think that you only have to twist the grip and off you go cos that is an electric Motor bike or scooter and you need insurance and a crash helmet and a license and number plates and a much bigger pocketbook
I would recommend you insure it against theft because they are very easy to steal although touch wood mine is safe.
Mine came with a beeper and there was no mention of any other form of warning instrument
