Not new been here before :P

Post by MadFox »

Hi Guys, just a quick intro, I'm a modeler who's been at it since i could walk, I'm deffo not the best but try to get better, i paint minis, (there's a post on here somewhere on my old account that shows some of my work,(tank commander and a Panzer Grenadier if my memory serves correct), I have the old Heng Long Tiger 1 with the RX13/14 board that im working on, and finally getting time to put it back together :)
Got a couple of RC cars I used to race and im also building the old Matchbox Flower class corvette 1/76 scale and converting that to RC with hopefully a working smoke stack

Welcome back
As I get older my walking prowess get evermore challenging indeed as my lady recently observed waking up as one gets older is an observers book of what new ache do I have today :lolno:
Glad to have you back on board we need new seasoned old blood in our ranks if only to show these young whippersnappers that we still have some working marbles  :haha:
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Welcome back then :)

Don't worry us whippersnappers definitely don't think you have any fully working marbles left anyway hahahahahaa

Enjoy the modelling, i am keen to see the Flower Class Corvette, my father has recently got his one up and running again after a little resto and i had to 3d print some new bits for it which were broken like those side net things, maybe get a picture to show what i mean.
My father got his because his uncle(who unfortunately passed away last year) actually served on a Flower Class Corvette in WW2.

Welcome back MadFox,

I find RC warships to be very cool, even though I've never played with one. Do post some pics when you have the chance. Glad to have you with us...again!

Cheers,
Eric.

Have you ever watched a club fight a sea battle on a lake. If you think we have a problem with tanks trying to imitate F1 cars, the sea battles are more like powerboat races!

I have a Flower class Corvette too but in 1/1200 scale. No space for RC!
