Hello all,
Ive been lurking on this forum for quite a while and been enjoying reading/seeing everyone's project. Figured I should finally introduce myself.
Im located in the city of Seattle, USA. Im an industrial designer by training so constantly looking for ways to use those skills to design, build and tinker. Surprised myself to now have 8 tanks. Anyhow i look forward to engagement with this forum and maybe even sharing some of my projects.

AK Welcome to the Forum
I cannot help wondering if you write Detective novels in your spare time or do you just get pleasure from leaving us in the air asking What Tanks are they ?
Are they new ? Are they in working order? Are they r/c?
Are they Tamiya/Heng Long/Taigen/Torro/Armortek?
Are they 1/16, 1/25, 1/6.

Hi and welcome. With your industrial Design qualification you are bound to enjoy this hobby. Nearly all the available products, tanks or trucks, have design flaws and half the fun is sorting them out!
It's a very low cost radio control hobby and that makes it very available. Unlike, say, golf, it's not the hobby costs that upsets the wife, it's the space all those tanks take up. Many of us own 20 or more and still want more. Are yours all RTR or are some kits or home brews?

Hello and welcome AK!
You're in a part of the World that I know well. My Wife and I lived in the Seattle area from 1996 to 2008. Technically it was the Renton Highlands, followed by Redmond Rose Hill area, then finally Everett. South Everett just across the County Line by Mariner High School.
Glad to have you with us! Fantastic bunch of guys with so much talent and skill it's simply amazing! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
Cheers,
Eric.

Welcome, AK (but not 47? !)
Pretty much all I know about Seattle, is that it's supposed to rain a lot there... and that there's even a song about it, I believe. 'Frasier' was set there ( I was a big fan, and of 'Curb your Enthusiasm, as well...although set much further south) and, of course, I was also aware of the links Seattle has with 'Grunge' music. My CD collection sports a grunge section.
Now, it seems, it has model tanks to offer as well
I just hope they're waterproof
Don't be reticent, now that you're out of the shadows, and do show us a few pics of your burgeoning stable.
