I'm the new guy
I'm the new guy
Hi,
I'm new to RC tanks. My main RC focus is scale heli's and sometimes planes. I fly mostly Vario & Roban scale helis.
Then browsing YouTube recently looking at videos on how to weather and airbrush I stumbled across a video of someone painting a tank. One thin lead to another and now I'm the proud owner of a new Henglong Tiger I pro edition. I've recently finished airbrushing it and for ym first attempt I'm pretty pleased with it.
A bottle of wine later and it looks like I've now got a T34/85 on the way too

Welcome to the best RC Tank site on the web IMO.
Nice looking Tiger I sir.

An impressive opening salvo, QM.

Hello, and welcome.
I wish I had found this site, and used the recommend vendors, prior to my purchase. I did of course by from a poor one. The next one was purchased whilst under the influence of malt whisky, it should have been a Challenger, but ended up as an Abrams, at least it was from a recommended vendor.
The help from this site has been brilliant.
Regards Ian

Oh hell, most of my rc purchases were developed from whiskey vapors! Of course I’m still not sure how I ended up with a Leopard 2A7+

Welcome Quackman,
You've come to the right place for everything involving RC tanks to great camaraderie (especially helpful during these crappy times)!
Love the Tiger 1! It looks perfect in an understated, simple way...the rust streaks are awesome! For a "first attempt", that was one hell of a good one!
Cheers,
Eric.

German cars, German girls, German beer, German firearms, German Shepherds, German motorcycles... Not necessarily in that order though!
UP THE IRONS!
