Hello from the US! I came here because nobody my age talks about tanks, or owns one nonetheless. It's great to find a welcoming group that likes the same things I do and are very helpful when people want to start new projects. Thanks for Tanks, SherFly1940
Edit: I can and will design parts for modelers, just ask, but as it is a free offer, don't expect it to have one-day delivery.

Welcome to the RC tank world. One tip, on EBay you can buy assorted price reduced/ discount labels , go for the half price variety, slap them on your latest delivery and it fools the nearest and dearest every time !. Works a treat. Hope you enjoy the Forum .

Sorry I won't disclose my exact location, but I'm in the midwest if that helps.

Lol, thought you wanted me to get a second bank manager. I'm trying to limit myself to two so my parents don't think I'm making bad life choices.

What a fine sense of humour, There is almost no chance of limiting yourself to two Tanks :lolno:
I feel sure you will have lots of questions and we just love answering them,
Sometimes they are right but then again---,
The most important thing to remember is that we are in this hobby for FUN !!!

Hello and welcome to the forum young man

We take all ages here, from young men like yourself to REAAAAALLY old folk like Mr jarndice :D runs and hides.

I'm still trying to work out how parents could think working on models can be a bad life choice  I can understand a wife thinking like that because tanks aren't essential items like shoes and handbags ;)

I used to build 1/35th Tamiya tank kits at 12/13, paid for by my paper round and car cleaning jobs, but I never had anyone that shared that same interest.

I feel you will fit in just fine here, especially if you ask lots of questions for people to show off their knowledge ;)
