Re: Hello folks
Pictures are always ok
Also, it is good to see owners pictures of tanks rather than just the stock sales ones.

Re: Hello folks
Stock or not, I still rather like the look of it
Sorry, I'm not too hot on the aftermarket smokers, but I'm guessing there is a version of tar smoker that plugs straight in the Taigen control board.
Have to make sure it's compatible so it don't draw too much current and overheat the control board.

Be aware the Tarr mk4 will not work with the Taigen V3.

Re: Hello folks
I could quote the different sizes and details about the mk 1/2/3/4, Tarr smokers but instead just tell you what the----
www.rctankelectronics.com
site says which is that no Tarr smoker will work with a Taigen V3 control board.

Re: Hello folks
If it has six extra sockets for the cables to use your own RX it's V2, if it has those and the on/off switch for the track recoil it's V3.chris.alliss wrote:How can i tell whiich version i have?

Personally, I don't like tarr smokers because you don't get the pulsating effect that piston engines have, it's just a continuous stream of smoke and I don't find that realistic. There are many mods for stock smokers and I've done a few of them, but I find the new ones from imex work pretty good right out of the box, and should it give up the ghost it's only ten bucks for a new one.
I have that same tank.
Mine is IR, and has an Asp that runs on the 9XR Pro, and the S33 also has an asp and runs on that TX, and these two have model matching so I can drive them both at once. Kinda. One at a time, but can have both powered up and switch back and forth.
What do you mean by "upgrade the firing mech"? It's airsoft and you want it to shoot better?
