New to the game

Post by McTiger »

Last rc was a 1/35 KT in the early 80s. No with time on my hands I have bought a 1/16 KT but not with full options, so I will need advice and parts to get the best out of it. Looking forward to the challenge.

Hi McTiger, Welcome to the Forum
Before we can help you finding upgrades for your King Tiger What make is it?
Tamiya/Heng Long/Taigen and where in the world are you ?,
The Scots have roamed across the whole of this world bringing civilisation and good vittals with them and this Forum has followed that same path looking to educate the natives and catch a taste of those same "Good Vittals" so we have members everywhere.
Anyway keep asking the questions.
Who knows one of the deadbeats on this site might actually have a rough idea of an answer.(Fat Chance) :haha:
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hi, thanks for that warm welcome :D It is a 1/16 Tamiya KT kit no RT1604-35000, it has 360 turret rotation, servo controlled gun flash, but no dmd or mf so not sure i can fit them. the main issue is the instructions that are in Japanese, i have looked at others on here but they are for the system with the dmd and mf. Should be interesting trying to work it all out.

Hi McTiger; welcome to the forums!

I'm new to the RC tank scene myself but already have had great ideas and support from the people here. I just need to actually start making the adaptations rather than just buying the things! Smoke machine change is on my radar next.
